Key Responsibilities :
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java.
Build and optimize distributed systems and microservices.
Drive system design and architecture decisions.
Lead code refactoring and engineering best practices.
Mentor team members and conduct code reviews.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
Required Skills:
4+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
Robust expertise in
Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Hibernate
.
Strong experience with
MySQL, Redis, and MongoDB
.
Hands-on experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture
.
Robust understanding of
System Design, OOP, Design Patterns, and Multi-tier Architecture
.
Must have been involved in designing systems from scratch since the beginning of their career, with hands-on ownership of architecture and scalable solution design.
Experience leading large-scale code refactoring and engineering improvements.
Robust coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Experience mentoring engineers and driving technical excellence.
Preferred Skills :
Experience in
D2C, FMCG, or Unicorn/Product-based startups
.
Exposure to
AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus.
Experience working in Agile environments with large-scale applications.
