We are looking for an experienced Senior Tax Accountant with solid hands-on experience in US Individual Tax Return Preparation. The ideal candidate should have expertise in preparing Forms 1040, 1040-NR, and 1040-SR and possess a valuable understanding of US federal and applicable state tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze US Individual Income Tax Returns, including Form 1040, 1040-NR, and 1040-SR.
Ensure tax returns and supporting documents are accurate, complete, and compliant with applicable tax regulations.
Work as a preparer and quality support extension for US-based CPA firms.
Follow client-specific review checklists, documentation standards, and engagement protocols.
Identify, document, and resolve discrepancies in tax returns and supporting workpapers.
Coordinate with US-based CPA partners, managers, and reviewers.
Manage multiple assignments while meeting strict deadlines and peak-season requirements.
Required Skills
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in US Individual Tax Return Preparation.
Robust experience with 1040, 1040-NR, and 1040-SR.
Valuable understanding of US federal and applicable state tax regulations.
Experience with tax software such as ProConnect, ProSeries, Lacerte, UltraTax, Intuit, CCH, or Drake.
Strong MS Excel and Outlook skills.
Good written and verbal English communication.
Ability to work under strict deadlines and peak-season pressure.
Flexibility to work in shifts.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
MBA in Accounting & Finance is preferred.
EA or CPA certification will be an added advantage.
