We are looking for an experienced US Tax Specialist / Tax Reviewer with solid hands-on experience in preparing and reviewing US Individual Income Tax Returns.
The candidate should have extensive experience with Form 1040, 1040-NR, and 1040-SR, including multistate individual tax returns.
Key Responsibilities
Review and analyze US Individual Tax Returns, including 1040, 1040-NR, and 1040-SR.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with US federal and applicable state tax laws.
Act as a reviewer and quality-control extension for US-based CPA firms.
Follow firm-specific review checklists, documentation standards, and engagement protocols.
Identify, document, and resolve discrepancies in tax returns and supporting workpapers.
Coordinate with US-based CPA partners, managers, and reviewers.
Maintain accurate records of review findings, recommendations, and client communications.
Manage assignments effectively during peak tax seasons and meet strict deadlines.
Required Skills
4 to 5 years of experience in US Individual Tax Preparation and Review.
Solid expertise in 1040, 1040-NR, and 1040-SR.
Experience in reviewing multistate individual tax returns.
Robust knowledge of US federal and state tax regulations.
Experience with ProConnect, ProSeries, Lacerte, UltraTax, Intuit, CCH, or Drake.
Strong MS Excel and Outlook skills.
Excellent written and verbal English communication.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
Flexibility to work in shifts.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
MBA in Accounting & Finance preferred.
EA or CPA certification will be an added advantage.
