Solar Service Engineer

We are looking for a technically skilled Solar Service Engineer to handle installation support, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and after-sales service of solar PV systems. The candidate will visit customer/project sites, identify technical issues, resolve service complaints, and ensure reliable performance of solar systems.

Roles And Responsibilities
Install, test, commission, and service solar PV systems.
Troubleshoot solar inverters, panels, batteries, DC/AC wiring, protection devices, and monitoring systems
Attend customer complaints and resolve technical issues within defined timelines.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of rooftop and ground-mounted solar systems.
Diagnose inverter alarms, generation issues, communication faults, and electrical problems.
Conduct site inspections and system performance checks.
Support customers, dealers, EPC partners, and installation teams with technical assistance.
Maintain service reports, site-visit reports, complaint records, and maintenance documentation.
Coordinate with technical, operations,



and spare-parts teams for complex issues.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures and site safety requirements.
Travel to customer/project locations as required.

Competencies
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or related field.
Basic knowledge of solar PV systems, electrical wiring, inverters, batteries, and protection systems.
Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
Valuable troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel, email, and service reporting.
Valid driving licence and willingness to travel for field visits.

Experince & Skills
0–3 years of experience in solar, electrical, inverter, or field service. Freshers with positive electrical/solar knowledge may also be considered.
