We are looking for a Software Development Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience building and shipping production backend systems.

Responsibilities
Design, build and maintain backend services in Node.js with TypeScript
Build data processing and automation components in Python
Design and document REST APIs, including versioning, authentication and error handling
Write and maintain unit and integration tests
Work with relational databases: schema design, query optimisation, migrations
Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions and release planning
Debug and resolve issues in production environments

Required skills
3+ years of professional software development experience
Robust command of TypeScript and Node.js in a production setting
Working proficiency in Python




Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, event loops and concurrency
Experience with PostgreSQL or a comparable relational database
Proficiency with Git and standard branching workflows
Understanding of software design principles, data structures and algorithms

Positive to have
NestJS or Express.js, FastAPI or Django
Docker and container-based deployment
CI/CD pipelines
Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure or GCP)
Message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka) and caching (Redis)
Experience working in an on-premise or air-gapped deployment workplace
