Role: Site Safety Officer

Location: Everest Industries Plant/Site

Job Summary:

Responsible for ensuring a secure working setting by implementing EHS policies, conducting safety inspections, identifying hazards, and ensuring compliance with statutory and company safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify unsafe conditions and practices.
Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safety procedures.
Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, toolbox talks, and safety training.
Monitor fire safety, emergency preparedness, and mock drills.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and ensure corrective actions.
Monitor contractor and employee compliance with safety standards.
Maintain safety records, reports, and statutory documentation.
Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, HR, and other departments to strengthen the site safety culture.
Ensure compliance with applicable statutory EHS requirements and company policies.

Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Industrial Safety, Fire & Safety, Engineering, or a relevant field. Experience: 25 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
