About the Role
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Out-Patient Department (OPD).
Ensure seamless patient registration, consultation scheduling, and appointment management.
Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, diagnostic departments, and support services for efficient patient care.
Monitor patient waiting times and implement measures to improve operational efficiency.
Handle patient queries, feedback, and grievances professionally to ensure a high level of patient satisfaction.
Supervise and guide OPD coordinators, front office executives, and support staff.
Maintain departmental records, reports, and operational documentation.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, quality standards, and service protocols.
Analyse OPD performance indicators and recommend process improvements.
Support hospital management in enhancing patient experience and achieving departmental goals.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduate in any discipline.
Minimum 2 years of experience as an OPD Head or in a similar leadership role in a hospital.
Strong understanding of OPD operations, patient flow management, and healthcare service delivery.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.:
Fluency in English is mandatory.:
Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent interpersonal and patient relationship management skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and Hospital Management Software will be an added advantage.
