Key Responsibilities
Examine, diagnose, and treat eye diseases, injuries, and vision disorders.
Perform comprehensive eye examinations and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
Prescribe medications, corrective lenses, and other therapies as required.
Perform ophthalmic surgical procedures when necessary.
Monitor patient progress and provide follow-up care.
Maintain accurate patient records and medical documentation.
Collaborate with other healthcare specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment options.
Follow hospital policies, medical ethics, and healthcare regulations.
Requirements:
MS/DOMS/DNB in Ophthalmology
Proven experience in ophthalmology is preferred.
Valid medical registration with the State Medical Council.
Solid diagnostic, surgical, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare workplace.
Education:
Master's (preferred)
Experience:
Consultant Ophthalmologist: 3 years (preferred)
