DESCRIPTION:
As an SDE-2, you'll work at the intersection of mobile development and AI-powered services, contributing to the evolution of Alexa's presence. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable solutions, optimize performance, and ensure robust integration between mobile platforms and cloud-based AI services.

Key job responsibilities

Backend Integration & Service Development
Build and maintain service layers that connect mobile clients with AI-powered backend systems
Develop RESTful APIs and implement effective data exchange protocols between mobile apps and cloud services
Work with backend systems to enable innovating features for Alexa+.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years of non-internship qualified software development experience
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns,



reliability and scaling) of recent and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Experience in one or more of the following: Native mobile development (Android/iOS), Python, Objective-C, Swift, C#, HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript, web and server programming and Responsive/Adaptive design, Java, SQL
