About the Role
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end procurement of medical and non-medical supplies.
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to obtain the best quality and pricing.
Ensure timely procurement of medicines, medical consumables, surgical items, and equipment.
Coordinate with various hospital departments to understand procurement requirements.
Monitor inventory levels and work closely with the stores department to prevent stock shortages.
Prepare purchase orders, maintain procurement records, and ensure documentation compliance.
Develop and maintain robust relationships with suppliers and service providers.
Analyse purchasing trends and implement cost-saving initiatives.
Ensure compliance with hospital procurement policies and applicable regulations.
Resolve vendor-related issues and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduate in any discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience in hospital procurement or purchase management.
Strong knowledge of hospital purchasing processes, vendor management, and inventory coordination.
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/Hospital Management Software will be an added advantage.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple procurement priorities.
