Position: Automotive Electrician
Location: Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir
Salary:₹12,000 per month onwards, negotiable/increasable based on skills, experience, and performance
Job Overview
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair vehicle electrical and electronic faults.
Inspect, repair, and replace wiring, fuses, relays, switches, and connectors.
Work on vehicle batteries, alternators, starters, lighting systems, and charging systems.
Diagnose electrical issues using appropriate testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
Handle installation and repair of electrical accessories where required.
Identify faults in sensors, control units, and other electronic systems.
Carry out electrical maintenance and preventive checks.
Follow workshop safety procedures and manufacturer-recommended repair standards.
Maintain proper records of repairs and parts used.
Coordinate with mechanics and service advisors to resolve vehicle-related issues efficiently.
Ensure quality workmanship and timely completion of assigned jobs.
ITI/technical qualification in Automobile, Auto Electrical, Electrical, or a related trade is preferred.:
Relevant experience as an automotive electrician will be an advantage.
Knowledge of vehicle electrical and electronic systems.
Ability to diagnose electrical faults accurately.
Familiarity with contemporary diagnostic equipment is preferred.
Valuable problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as with a workshop team.
