We are looking for a full time Business Development Executive - IT Services & Online Bidding to generate qualified business opportunities for our technical services.
Significant clarification
This is an IT sales, online bidding, lead-generation and client-acquisition position.
It is not a traditional Business Analyst, Data Analyst, project coordinator, software developer or technical support position.
Roles and responsibilities
Search for relevant IT projects on Upwork and other online bidding platforms.
Review client requirements and shortlist opportunities that match our services.
Write and submit personalised proposals instead of generic or copied templates.
Manage initial communication with prospective clients.
Introduce our DevOps, AWS, cloud and server-management services to prospective clients.
Generate leads for one-time technical projects and recurring monthly support contracts.
Approach software-development agencies requiring outsourced or white-label DevOps support.
Understand the client’s initial requirements, budget, urgency and decision-making process.
Qualify opportunities before arranging meetings with the technical team.
Schedule and coordinate technical discovery calls and final client discussions.
Follow up consistently with prospective clients until a transparent decision is received.
Prepare commercial proposals using company-approved service and pricing information.
Maintain accurate records of leads, proposals, conversations and follow-up dates.
Coordinate written confirmations, funded contracts or advance payments before work begins.
Prepare daily and weekly reports covering bidding, outreach, replies, follow-ups and active opportunities.
