:Substation Lead

Location: Chennai

Experience: 4+ Years- Lead the design and engineering of HV/MV substations (up to 765kV), including layout, protection & control, grounding, and auxiliary systems.
Manage project deliverables, timelines, and budgets while ensuring compliance with international standards (IEC, IEEE, ANSI, etc.).
Coordinate with global clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project alignment and client satisfaction.
Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards throughout the design lifecycle.
Prepare proposals, technical reports,



and presentations for clients and management.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in substation design.
Proven experience in handling international clients and working on global projects.
Solid knowledge of substation components, protection systems, and control philosophies.
Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, ETAP, and other relevant software.
Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
