Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Curriculum:
Deliver lectures and tutorials in English language, literature, critical theory, and communication skills.
Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and assessments.
Evaluate student work and provide constructive feedback.
Research & Scholarship:
Conduct original research and publish in peer-reviewed journals and books.
Attend and present at academic conferences and workshops.
Seek research grants and funding.
Student Mentorship:
Provide academic, career, and project guidance to undergraduate and graduate students.
Mentor students on dissertations and other academic pursuits.
Service & Administration:
Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and curriculum design.
Assist with student recruitment, admissions, and placement activities.
Contribute to outreach programs and departmental events.
Career development:
Stay updated on recent developments in English studies.
Engage in continuous learning through workshops and seminars.
