About the Role
Key Responsibilities
Supervise the day-to-day housekeeping operations across all hospital departments.
Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in patient rooms, OT areas, ICUs, OPD, public areas, and administrative offices.
Allocate duties and monitor the performance of housekeeping staff.
Conduct routine inspections to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
Ensure adherence to infection prevention and hospital sanitation protocols.
Manage housekeeping supplies, linen, and cleaning equipment efficiently.
Coordinate with other departments to address housekeeping requirements promptly.
Train and guide housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety practices, and hospital protocols.
Maintain housekeeping records, checklists, and daily reports.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and quality standards.
Eligibility Criteria
Diploma or Graduate in any discipline.
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
Valuable knowledge of housekeeping operations, infection control practices, and sanitation standards.
Solid leadership, team management, and organisational skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage staff, schedules, and daily operational requirements effectively.
