Designation - Formulation & Development

Key Responsibilities
Develop and improve formulations for skincare, haircare, and cosmetic products.
Conduct laboratory trials, prototype development, and product optimization.
Perform stability, compatibility, and performance testing of formulations.
Research current raw materials, ingredients, and market trends.
Scale up formulations from laboratory to commercial production.
Coordinate with production, QA/QC, procurement, and packaging teams.
Prepare and maintain formulation records, SOPs, specifications, and technical documentation.
Ensure compliance with applicable cosmetic regulations and quality standards.
Evaluate competitor products and recommend improvements.
Troubleshoot formulation and manufacturing-related issues.

Required Skills:
Knowledge of cosmetic formulation techniques and raw materials.
Understanding of emulsions, surfactants, preservatives, fragrances, and active ingredients.




Experience in stability studies and product evaluation.
Knowledge of cosmetic regulatory requirements and GMP practices.
Robust analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and technical reporting.
Positive communication and cross-functional coordination skills.

Preferred Experience
Experience in skincare, haircare, color cosmetics, or personal care products.
Exposure to technology transfer, pilot batches, and commercial scale-up.
Familiarity with ISO, GMP, and cosmetic compliance requirements.
