Manager - Design for Bearing (Aerospace Division)

Role Overview

Responsible for design, development, validation, and production support of aerospace precision components and bearing systems. The role includes RFQ analysis, process development, manufacturing coordination, and ensuring compliance with aerospace quality standards.

Experience: -9 - 12 Years
Industry Preference: Aerospace / Bearing / Precision Components / Defence Manufacturing
Qualification: B.Tech / B.E. - Mechanical Engineering
Salary And Budget:
Provided 8 to 12 Lakh LPA

Key Responsibilities

Current Product Development (NPD)
Handle complete product development lifecycle including RFQ study, design, development, validation, industrialization, and production launch
Develop and review process documents such as PFD, Control Plan, PFMEA, Quality Plan, and work instructions




Prepare technical feasibility studies for manufacturing and outsourcing prospects
Ensure products meet customer requirements related to quality, performance, reliability, and cost targets

Design & Manufacturing Coordination
Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams for smooth product development and production readiness
Ensure design for manufacturability (DFM) and process optimization
Support pilot production trials and process validations
Coordinate with vendors for tooling, fixtures, gauges, raw materials, and special process development

Quality & Compliance
Ensure compliance with AS9100D, ISO 9001, and customer-specific aerospace quality requirements
Maintain technical documentation, records, and validation reports
Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for product and process issues
