Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented

Manual QA Engineer to design, execute, and track software test cases across enterprise applications. You will manage defects, perform functional and regression testing, and collaborate with Agile delivery teams using

Azure DevOps (ADO)

and

ServiceNow/ITSM tools

.

Key Responsibilities
Test Design & Execution:

Create and execute manual test cases for Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, and UAT testing based on business requirements.
Defect Management:

Identify, log, track, and verify software defects to resolution using

Azure DevOps (ADO)

and

Jira

.
ITSM Validation:

Test business workflows, forms, approval rules, and notification logic on

ServiceNow/ITSM or core enterprise SaaS platforms.
Backend Validation:

Execute





SQL queries for database verification and perform REST API checks using

Postman or

Swagger

.
Agile Collaboration:

Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure test coverage and release readiness.

Requirements
Experience:

4+ years of hands-on manual QA testing across web, mobile, or enterprise desktop applications.
Tools:

Direct experience with

Azure DevOps (ADO)

,

Jira

, or

ServiceNow for defect and test management.
Core QA Skills:

Solid understanding of SDLC/STLC, Agile methodologies, test planning, and defect tracking.
Technical Basics:

Hands-on experience writing basic SQL queries and performing API testing with Postman.
