Key Responsibilities
Teach English to students from Classes 6 to 12 as per the CBSE curriculum.
Prepare and deliver engaging, structured lesson plans.
Develop students’ reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, speaking and communication skills.
Conduct classroom activities, discussions, assessments and examinations.
Prepare worksheets, question papers, assignments and other learning materials.
Regularly evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
Support students who require additional academic guidance.
Maintain proper classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
Integrate technology and creative teaching methods wherever appropriate.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events and academic activities.
Maintain student records and coordinate with the academic team regarding student progress.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English.
B.Ed.
or equivalent teaching qualification preferred/required as per school norms.
Strong knowledge of the CBSE English curriculum for Classes 6–12.
Excellent English communication and classroom-management skills.
Good command of grammar, literature, writing and spoken English.
Experience
0–3 years of relevant teaching experience in a CBSE school preferred.
Experience teaching senior classes (XI–XII) will be an added advantage.
