As a Health, Safety, and Setting (HSE) Engineer, you will serve as a key point of support and contact for the District HSE Leader. Your role involves delivering the Business Area (BA) HSE Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for the region, with dedicated support for the Service Line of Business (LOB). You will ensure compliance, drive continuous improvement, and strengthen the safety culture across operations. Additionally, you will manage the overall HSE Management System (HSEMS) for the district.
Basic Qualifications & Skills
University Degree in Scienceor Engineeringonly.
HSE qualification:Diploma in Industrial Safety from a recognized institute.
Strong influencing skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
Ability to quickly build client-customer relationships in a challenging and changing environment.
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards during field operations, supporting secure execution of Service contracts and promoting a robust safety culture on-site.
Implement and monitor HSE policies,
procedures, and standards at the field level.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions.
Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; prepare reports and recommend preventive measures.
Maintain accurate HSE permits and other documentation.
Support risk assessments and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for critical activities.
Coordinate emergency preparedness drills and ensure readiness of safety equipment.
Assist in driving a continuous improvement culture within HSE.
