This is an in-office counter-based role, not a field-sales-only position.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle walk-in retail, contractor, fabricator and B2B customers at the counter.
Handle customer enquiries received through phone, WhatsApp and email.
Understand customer requirements for TMT, MS Pipes, Angles, Channels, Beams, HR/CR/GI Sheets and other steel products.
Check stock and current selling prices and prepare quotations / PI.
Negotiate with customers and close orders within approved price limits.
Follow up pending quotations and develop repeat business from existing customers.
Coordinate with accountant and warehouse team for billing, payment and dispatch.
Ensure customer orders are processed and dispatched correctly and on time.
Follow up customer outstanding/payments where required.
Maintain customer enquiries, quotations, orders and follow-ups properly in ERP.
* Handle day-to-day counter sales independently and escalate only special pricing, credit or major customer matters to management.
