About the Role

IGNITE HEALTH CLUB is looking for an experienced, energetic, and result-oriented Gym Manager to take complete responsibility for the day-to-day operations, team management, sales, member experience, and overall growth of the club.

The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, a professional personality, excellent communication, and proven experience in managing a gym, fitness centre, or health club.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage the complete day-to-day operations of the gym.

* Lead and supervise trainers, front-desk, sales, housekeeping, and support staff.

* Achieve monthly membership, renewal, personal training, and revenue targets.

* Drive new memberships, renewals, referrals, and member retention.

* Ensure excellent customer service and member satisfaction.

* Handle member complaints and resolve issues professionally.

* Monitor staff attendance, discipline, grooming, performance, and productivity.

* Prepare staff schedules and ensure proper manpower coverage.

* Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and equipment maintenance.

* Monitor gym equipment and coordinate repairs and maintenance.

* Conduct regular staff meetings and performance reviews.

* Plan and execute membership promotions, fitness challenges, events, and engagement activities.

* Monitor revenue, collections, expenses, and operational costs.

* Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly sales and operational reports.

* Coordinate with vendors and service providers.

* Ensure all company policies, SOPs, and safety procedures are followed.

* Take ownership of the overall branch performance and profitability.





Candidate Requirements

* Minimum 5 years of experience in gym, fitness centre, health club, or wellness management.

* Previous experience as a Gym Manager / Fitness Manager / Club Manager preferred.

* Proven experience in team management and achieving sales targets.

* Strong knowledge of gym operations and fitness industry practices.

* Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

* Strong sales and business development mindset.

* Professional, energetic, well-groomed, and customer-focused personality.

* Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and peak gym hours.

* Knowledge of gym management software and basic MS Office.

* Fitness/Personal Training certification will be an added advantage.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: 5 LPA – 7 LPA, depending on experience, skills, and suitability.

Accommodation: Company-provided accommodation for candidates relocating from outside Berhampur.
