Salary

₹20,000 - ₹25,000 per month

Performance Incentive

Up to ₹5,000 per month based on:
Breakdown response time
Quality of repairs
Zero repeat failures
Preventive maintenance compliance
Vehicle uptime

Job Purpose

To maintain and repair the company's fleet of heavy commercial vehicles and earthmoving equipment, ensuring maximum uptime, minimum breakdowns, and secure operation.

16 Tippers
3 Poclains
1 Loader
Other fleet equipment assigned by management

Key ResponsibilitiesPreventive Maintenance
Carry out scheduled servicing of all fleet vehicles.
Change engine oil, gearbox oil, differential oil and hydraulic oil as per schedule.
Replace filters, belts and hoses on time.
Perform greasing and lubrication of all equipment.

Breakdown Maintenance
Attend vehicle breakdowns immediately.
Diagnose faults quickly and accurately.
Repair vehicles at site whenever possible.




Minimize vehicle downtime.

Gearbox repairs
Differential repairs
Brake system repairs
Suspension repairs
Steering system repairs
Propeller shaft repairs
Cooling system maintenance
Fuel system repairs

Daily Inspection

Inspect every assigned vehicle for:
Engine oil
Coolant
Hydraulic oil
Air pressure
Brake performance
Leakages
Battery condition
Lights
Tyres
Fasteners and mountings

Coordination
Coordinate with Fleet Supervisors and drivers.
Report major defects immediately.
Guide assistant mechanics during repairs.

Workshop Responsibilities
Maintain tools properly.
Keep workshop clean and organised.
Ensure secure working practices.
Reduce wastage of spare parts and consumables.

Documentation

Maintain records of:
Repair work completed
Spare parts used
Breakdown details
Service completion
