Job Title: SAP Finance SME (Subject Matter Expert)

Overview

Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary functional expert for SAP Finance processes and solutions.
Lead workshops to gather business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
Support SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations, upgrades, and transformation programmes.
Configure and support key finance modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling.
Provide guidance on financial reporting, period-end close, and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, testing, and data migration activities.
Support user training, change management, and post-go-live activities.

Required Experience
5+ years of SAP Finance consulting or SME experience.
Strong knowledge of SAP FI/CO and SAP S/4HANA Finance.
Experience in finance transformation, process improvement,



and system implementation projects.
Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and reporting requirements.
Experience facilitating workshops and engaging with senior finance stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
SAP S/4HANA Finance certification.
Experience with Central Finance, Group Reporting, or SAP Analytics Cloud.
Qualified accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent).
Experience working in global or complex enterprise environments.

Essential skills:
5+ years of SAP Finance consulting or SME experience.
Strong knowledge of SAP FI/CO and SAP S/4HANA Finance.
