Job Title: Legal Manager - Real Estate

Job Purpose

The Legal Manager will be responsible for managing all legal matters related to real estate

projects, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating property-related documents, ensuring

regulatory compliance, and supporting land acquisition and project development processes.

The role involves close coordination with senior management and external legal advisors to

mitigate legal risks and ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Drafting & Documentation
Draft, review, vet, and negotiate real estate-related legal documents including Sale

Deeds, Development Agreements, Joint Development Agreements (JDAs), MOUs,

Agreements to Sell, Lease Deeds, and related contracts.
Ensure all documentation is legally sound, risk-mitigated, and aligned with business

objectives.

Regulatory Compliance & Advisory
Ensure compliance with RERA, local property laws, land laws, municipal regulations,

and applicable state and central statutes.




Advise management on legal implications related to real estate transactions and

project structuring.

Land Acquisition & Title Due Diligence
Support land acquisition processes including title search, due diligence, and

verification of ownership documents.
Coordinate with external advocates and consultants for title opinions and legal

certifications.

Project & Transaction Support
Provide legal support for ongoing and upcoming real estate projects from acquisition

to completion.
Assist senior legal leadership in handling complex transactions, disputes, and

negotiations.

External Legal Coordination
Liaise with external legal advisors, law firms, and consultants for legal opinions,

documentation, and litigation support.
Monitor deliverables from external counsels and ensure timely closure of legal

matters.
