About the Role
We are looking for a Business Head – Lending to build and lead the NBFC's lending business with end-to-end ownership of the P&L.;
The role will involve identifying new lending opportunities, building propositions, launching businesses from 0→1 and scaling them into profitable, sizeable businesses. The individual will work closely with the CEO and teams across Credit, Risk, Product, Technology, Operations and Finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the lending P&L;, including disbursements, AUM, revenue, margins, credit costs and profitability.
- Develop and execute the overall lending business strategy and growth plan.
- Identify attractive lending segments across leasing, asset finance, commercial mobility, MSME and other secured / cash-flow-backed opportunities.




- Lead 0→1 launches — from market opportunity and product proposition through underwriting, distribution and scale-up.
- Build scalable sourcing and distribution through direct, digital and strategic ecosystem partnerships.
- Work with Credit and Risk to establish strong underwriting, portfolio management and collections frameworks.
- Partner with Product and Technology to build scalable, digital-first lending journeys.
- Build and lead the business team and operating infrastructure required to scale.
- Drive strong unit economics, portfolio quality and profitability while scaling the portfolio.

Ideal Candidate
- 8–12+ years of experience across NBFCs, lending, leasing, asset finance or financial services.
- Proven experience building/scaling lending businesses and owning or significantly driving a P&L.;
- Strong track record of 0→1 product or business launches.
- Experience beyond traditional consumer lending / vanilla vehicle finance would be preferred.
