Assemble, fit, and integrate mechanical and hardware components for RoshAi's autonomous mobile robots and industrial hardware platforms, ensuring precision, durability, and rapid build turnaround.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble mechanical structures, chassis, and hardware platforms per engineering drawings.
Perform fitting, fastening, and torque operations to specification.
Route and secure wiring harnesses and cabling across mechanical assemblies.
Carry out basic fabrication tasks (drilling, cutting, filing, minor machining) as needed.
Use measurement tools (vernier caliper, micrometer) to verify dimensional accuracy and tolerances.
Support integration of electrical/electronic components onto mechanical platforms in coordination with electronics technicians.
Identify and troubleshoot mechanical fit or assembly issues and escalate design concerns.
Maintain assembly documentation and quality/test records.
Support in office installation and field deployment of hardware when required.
Follow workshop safety standards and maintain an organized tooling and work area.
Must-Have Skills
Mechanical assembly and fitting.
Hand and power tool use (drills, wrenches, torque tools).
Fastening and torque standards.
Wiring harness routing on mechanical/hardware platforms.
Blueprint and engineering drawing reading.
Basic fabrication skills (drilling, filing, cutting, minor machining).
Dimensional measurement using vernier caliper and micrometer.
Solid attention to tolerance and fit.
Positive-to-Have Skills
Basic welding or brazing.
Exposure to hydraulics/pneumatics.
Experience assembling robotics/AMR chassis or automotive components.
CAD drawing familiarity (reading, not necessarily designing).
Basic electrical/wiring awareness for cross-functional hardware integration.
Prior experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or field-deployment setting.
