Job Title: Duty Doctor / ICU Physician (MBBS/MD)

About the Role
Krishna Hospital & Research Foundation is looking for committed and clinically competent doctors to join our clinical team.
We are currently looking for doctors who can support our general duty doctor requirements across wards, emergency and inpatient care, as well as candidates with experience or additional training in ICU and critical care.
The role and responsibilities may be assigned based on the candidate's qualifications, experience and clinical competency.
Key Responsibilities
Assess and examine patients in wards, ICU and emergency settings.
Provide immediate medical care and stabilise patients when required.
Initiate and manage treatment as per clinical protocols and consultant guidance.
Monitor patient progress and ensure regular updates to case sheets and clinical documentation.
Respond promptly to emergencies and critical calls.
Coordinate patient care with consultants, nursing staff and other departments.




Assist consultants during rounds, procedures and patient management.
Ensure accurate documentation of clinical findings, treatment and patient progress.
Follow hospital protocols, infection control standards and patient safety procedures.
Handle medico-legal cases and documentation as per hospital guidelines.
Ensure appropriate clinical handover and continuity of patient care during shift changes.
Additional Responsibilities for ICU-Experienced Candidates
Candidates with ICU or critical care experience may additionally be responsible for:
Managing critically ill patients in the ICU.
Monitoring vital parameters and treatment response.
Supporting ventilator management and critical care monitoring.
Managing medical emergencies including sepsis, respiratory failure, shock and other critical conditions.
Performing or assisting with ICU procedures as appropriate to qualification and competency.
