Job Requirements*

- Years of experience on SQL Administration (preferably MCDBA)
- Solid in RDBMS concepts
- Installing SQL server and client software, creating, upgrading.
- Experience in SQL 2005, 2008, 2012, 2014
- Experience in Tablespace, Schemas, Application/ DB Tuning & Performance Monitoring.
- Patching databases in Windows environments.
- Experience in Upgrade and Migration of SQL database
- Performance Tuning of SQL databases
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
- Planning, scheduling and taking SQL backups.
- Hands on experience in database backups and Recovery
- Export/Import, Cold, Hot backups & DR solutions.
- Successfully implemented physical standby database using SQL Data replication and log shipping
- High availability configuration, AlwaysOn, Log shipping
- Installation, Configuration and deployment of SQL database
- Capacity Management
- Database security
- Co-ordination with multiple stake holders / Third party Vendors for break-fix.
- Flexibility to work in shifts for 24x7 support
- Must be able to lead the critical outage calls
- Create the Standard Operating Procedure and update the knowledge database documentation whenever required
- Participate in weekly/ monthly/ customer meeting and provide activities report.
- Experience in Oracle 9i, 10g, 11g & 12c Tablespace, Schemas,

Patching databases in UNIX (Solaris, HP-UX & AIX), Linux and Windows environments.>
