The Pipeline Engineer will work in office full time in Coimbatore, contributing to the design, analysis, and optimization of pipeline systems for oil and gas and related industries. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing developing and reviewing pipeline routes and layouts, preparing design documents and technical reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. The role involves coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams, supporting project planning and scheduling, and assisting in the review of vendor and construction drawings. The Pipeline Engineer will also support risk assessments, integrity management, and troubleshooting during construction and commissioning, while maintaining clear communication with project managers and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of petroleum and petroleum engineering principles relevant to pipeline design and operation.
Knowledge of the oil and gas industry, including gathering systems, transmission lines, and processing facilities.
Exposure to drilling operations and associated flowlines, wellhead connections, and field development layouts.
Ability to interpret and apply major engineering codes and standards (e.g., ASME B31 series, API, ISO) in pipeline projects.
Proficiency in engineering software for pipeline design and analysis (e.g., autocad, civil 3D and ceaser 2 software) is an advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical report-writing skills, with attention to safety and regulatory compliance.
