Company Description Induss – The Rice Engineers is a leading manufacturer of paddy parboiling, steaming, and drying plants, with over 45 years of experience in Kolkata, India. The company delivers plants ranging from 50 to 1500 tons per day and has commissioned more than 3,500 projects across India and multiple countries in Asia and Africa. Induss plants are engineered to deliver uniform rice color, minimal broken grains, and no odor, with parboiling processes optimized for rapid soaking. The company offers semi-automatic and fully automatic parboiling solutions, husk-fired furnaces with significant fuel savings, and PLC-controlled systems that can run multiple driers. Induss has also introduced an cutting-edge water recycling system, validated by IIT Kharagpur, enabling rice millers to reuse discharged water for many batches without compromising quality or safety.
Role Description The Automation Engineer will work full time on-site at Induss facilities in Bengaluru, focusing on the design, implementation, and optimization of automation systems for rice processing plants.



Responsibilities include developing and configuring PLC-based control systems, integrating sensors and instrumentation, and ensuring reliable process control for parboiling, drying, and related operations. The role involves diagnosing and troubleshooting automation and electrical issues, coordinating with mechanical and process engineering teams, and supporting commissioning of new projects. The Automation Engineer will create and maintain technical documentation, contribute to continuous improvements in system performance and energy efficiency, and provide training and support to operations and maintenance teams.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Automation and Process Control skills, including experience with PLCs, SCADA, and industrial control systems.
