Australian Tax Accountant | Mohali (In office)

Mohali, Punjab | 5:30 AM – 2:30 PM, Mon–Fri | 2–3 Years Experience

We're hiring a sharp, detail-driven Tax Accountant to support Australian tax and accounting operations — working closely with international clients and the onshore team to keep every return, reconciliation, and lodgement on track.

Requirements

n

2–3 years of accounting/tax experience, ideally with hands-on exposure to Australian taxation (income tax, BAS, GST, payroll tax)

n

Working knowledge of Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks (Australian edition), plus strong MS Excel skills

n

Excellent verbal and written English communication (mandatory)

n





Sharp attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple client accounts at once

n

Willingness to work the 5:30 AM – 2:30 PM shift aligned with Australian business hours

n

n

Key Responsibilities

n

Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships per Australian guidelines

n

Handle bookkeeping, reconciliations, and BAS/IAS preparation in line with ATO standards

n

Ensure full ATO compliance and meet all lodgement deadlines

n

Support year-end financial statements and tax planning

n

Liaise directly with Australian clients and coordinate with the onshore team on queries and reporting

n
