Department -Hotel Operations

Reports To -General Manager / Business Development Manager

Job Summary-The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring smooth coordination between Front Office, Food & Beverage Service, Kitchen, Housekeeping, and other operational departments.

The ideal candidate should have solid practical knowledge of Front Office operations, F&B; Service, and Kitchen operations, with the ability to supervise teams, maintain service standards, control operational costs, handle guest concerns, and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily hotel operations and ensure smooth coordination between departments.
Manage and supervise Front Office, F&B; Service, Kitchen, and Housekeeping teams.
Ensure excellent guest service and handle guest complaints effectively.
Monitor hotel SOPs, service standards, hygiene, and safety.
Coordinate closely with the Kitchen and F&B; team for smooth food service.
Control operational costs, wastage, and inventory.
Train, motivate, and manage staff performance.
Monitor revenue, guest satisfaction, and overall operational efficiency.

Required Skills




Strong knowledge of Front Office Operations.
Strong knowledge of F&B; Service Operations.
Good practical understanding of Kitchen/Food Production Operations.
Excellent guest-handling and complaint-resolution skills.
Strong leadership and team-management abilities.
Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of hotel SOPs and service standards.
Positive understanding of revenue and cost control.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple departments.
Strong decision-making and operational follow-up skills.
Computer knowledge and familiarity with hotel PMS/POS systems.

Qualification
Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality Management preferred.
Additional professional certifications in hospitality operations will be an advantage.

Experience
7–10 years of relevant experience in hotel operations, preferably with supervisory/management experience.
Candidates with strong operational experience in Front Office, F&B; Service, and Kitchen coordination will be preferred.
