Role Description The Area Sales Manager – Modern Trade will be responsible for driving sales growth and market presence for Hector Beverages in modern trade channels across Tamil Nadu & Kerala states. This full-time, in office role includes managing key accounts like Reliance,DMART,MRL,LULU etc.. overseeing relationships with modern trade retailers,



and ensuring effective execution of promotions and merchandising standards. The role involves planning and tracking sales targets, analyzing store-level performance, and coordinating with internal teams such as marketing, supply chain, and finance to optimize availability and visibility. The Area Sales Manager will regularly visit stores, lead negotiations for displays and shelf space, monitor competitor activity, and provide timely reporting and insights to support strategic decisions. The position also includes mentoring and guiding frontline sales staff to achieve objectives and uphold company values.
Qualifications
Proven experience in modern trade or FMCG sales management, preferably in beverages or consumer goods.
Strong skills in key account management, relationship building, and negotiation with modern trade partners.
Ability to analyze sales data, track KPIs, and convert insights into actionable plans for store-level exec
