An established interior fit-out and Design & Build organisation is hiring a Senior Tendering Executive with 7 to 12 years of experience, for its Head Office in Andheri West, Mumbai. The role will lead the organisation's tendering, estimation, and pre-contract activities, with responsibility for developing commercially viable bids, managing tender risks, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and leading the Tendering and Pre-Contracts team. The position will work closely with Business Development, Design, Procurement, Finance, and Project teams across the tendering and pre-contract cycle. Project Exposure The role will primarily involve: Corporate interior projects Commercial office projects Hospitality projects Retail fit-outs Design & Build projects Large-scale interior fit-out and turnkey projects Key Responsibilities Lead the complete tendering lifecycle from opportunity identification through bid submission. Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs, contracts, and commercial requirements. Develop bid strategies and establish bid/no-bid evaluation processes based on project viability and risk. Oversee detailed cost estimates, BOQs, quantity take-offs, and rate analyses. Drive value engineering and cost optimisation initiatives while maintaining commercial viability. Develop and maintain cost databases, historical benchmarks, and market intelligence. Review contractual terms and identify commercial, financial, and execution risks associated with tender opportunities. Participate in commercial negotiations with clients, consultants, PMCs, vendors, and subcontractors. Develop relationships with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors and obtain competitive commercial terms for project bids. Monitor material costs, labour rates, and relevant market trends to support competitive pricing. Represent the organisation in pre-bid meetings, client presentations,



and negotiations. Support Business Development initiatives through commercial inputs and proposal strategies. Lead, mentor, and develop the Tendering and Pre-Contracts team. Establish departmental KPIs and drive process improvements across the function. Coordinate with Design, Procurement, Finance, and Project teams to ensure timely and accurate tender submissions. Prepare tender pipeline, bid status, and management reports, including win-loss analysis and market intelligence. Ensure compliance with organisational policies, procedures, and governance requirements. Requirements Graduate in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline. 7 to 12 years of experience in Tendering, Estimation, Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or Pre-Contracts functions. Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role managing Tendering or Pre-Contracts teams. Proven experience in Interior Fit-Out, Design & Build, Construction, or Turnkey Contracting organisations. Experience handling projects ranging from ₹5 Cr to ₹100+ Cr. Strong exposure to Corporate Interiors, Commercial Offices, Hospitality, Retail Fit-Outs, and Design & Build projects. Strong knowledge of cost estimation, quantity surveying, BOQ preparation and validation, commercial management, and contract review. Experience in value engineering, cost optimisation, procurement, vendor management, risk assessment, and commercial analysis. Experience with commercial negotiations involving clients, consultants, PMCs, vendors, and subcontractors. Proficiency in AutoCAD, advanced MS Office, ERP, and relevant estimation or cost-management software. Robust leadership, negotiation, analytical, communication, and coordination skills. PMP, RICS, or equivalent professional certification will be an added advantage. Work Schedule Location: Andheri West, Mumbai Working days: Monday - Saturday (10:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
