Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Sonologist role based in Panaiyir, Chennai. The Sonologist will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, interpret findings, and prepare accurate reports to support clinical decision-making. Daily responsibilities include conducting patient assessments prior to imaging, ensuring appropriate imaging protocols, and collaborating with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals. The role involves maintaining ultrasound equipment, adhering to safety and quality standards,



and participating in departmental meetings and case discussions. The Sonologist is expected to provide compassionate patient care, explain procedures clearly, and maintain thorough documentation in line with hospital policies.

Qualifications
- Relevant medical degree (MBBS) with postgraduate qualification or certification in Radiology or Sonology from a recognised institution.
- Valid medical registration/license as per applicable regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in performing and interpreting a wide range of ultrasound studies (e.g., abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, small parts).
- Solid knowledge of ultrasound physics, imaging protocols, and current diagnostic guidelines.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and communicate findings clearly to clinicians and patients.
