Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Serve as the Discipline Coordinator's principal administrative contact for University staff and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with Discipline Coordinators on procedural and policy documents related to curriculum, course approvals, work allocation, and academic activities.
- Regularly update the website with the SIAS Major/Minor course catalogue and other relevant policy documents.
- Coordinate with departments for job talks, workshops, conferences, seminars, and other academic events.
- Coordinate and provide administrative support for faculty recruitment and faculty development activities.
- Attend to student queries and maintain accurate student records,
including coursework and research records.
- Collect relevant departmental information and prepare regular reports for University authorities and regulatory bodies.
- Coordinate with the Accounts/Finance Department on payment-related matters.
- Collate data and monitor and track documents, projects, events, and assigned tasks.
- Provide relevant background information and supporting data whenever required.
- Liaise with various departments, functions, and stakeholders at all levels to ensure smooth coordination and timely completion of activities.
- Provide administrative and data support for the University's accreditation and rankings activities related to academic programmes.
- Support the preparation and maintenance of data and documentation for national and international accreditation and ranking agencies, including NAAC, NIRF, QIS, and other relevant agencies.
