We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in Selenium Automation, Java, SQL, BDD frameworks, and API Testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automation test frameworks and ensuring high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Java.
- Develop and execute test scenarios using BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Automate and validate REST APIs and Web Services using tools/frameworks such as Rest Assured.
- Write and execute SQL queries for backend and database validation.
- Design and maintain reusable automation frameworks using industry best practices.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution.
- Integrate automation test suites with CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in requirement analysis, test planning,
test case design, and test execution.
- Ensure automation coverage and continuously improve testing processes.
Mandatory Skills
- Solid hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver
- Strong programming skills in Java
- Experience with BDD framework – Cucumber
- Strong knowledge of API Testing and API Automation
- Experience with Rest Assured
- Good knowledge of SQL and Database Testing
- Experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks
- Knowledge of TestNG/JUnit
- Experience with Git and version control tools
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Knowledge of Maven/Gradle and CI/CD tools is preferred
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools
- Knowledge of Docker or cloud environments
- Experience with performance testing tools is an added advantage
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
