Role Summary:

The incumbent will lead the design, development and delivery of learning interventions that enhance student employability and prepare students for internships, placements and successful transitions into the workplace.

Responsibilities:

Learning Needs Identification and Strategy

/n

/n
- Assess student learning and development needs in alignment with placement, internship, and career-readiness requirements.
/n
- Work closely with the Placements & Internships team to identify competency gaps based on industry expectations, recruiter feedback, student performance, and emerging market trends.
/n
- Develop an annual learning and development roadmap for students across programmes and cohorts.
/n
- Build structured interventions for different stages of the student career journey.
/n
- Identify developmental barriers that may affect students' confidence, career decision-making, professional behaviour, or preparedness for internships and placements.
/n

Counselling and Personality Development Interventions

/n

/n
- Design and facilitate developmental interventions to support students in building self-awareness, confidence, resilience, and skilled identity.
/n
- Provide individual or group-based career and developmental guidance to students facing challenges related to career choices, placement preparedness, confidence, motivation, or professional development.
/n
- Help students identify their strengths, areas for development, interests, and career aspirations through structured developmental conversations and appropriate assessment tools.
/n
- Develop interventions for students who may require additional support in areas such as communication, confidence, interview anxiety, professional behaviour, or adapting to workplace expectations.
/n
- Partner with relevant internal student support or counselling functions where specialised psychological or mental health intervention is required.
