Role Overview
We are looking for an energetic and presentable Business Development Manager for
our Solar business, specifically for Solar PPA / Power Purchase Agreement
prospects with Government and Private-sector clients.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities for Solar PPA projects.
Generate leads and build relationships with Government and Private clients.
Work on PPA opportunities, proposals and business development activities.
Prepare and present business proposals, presentations and commercial offers.
Conduct client meetings, presentations and negotiations.
Coordinate with internal technical, commercial and project teams.
Understand client requirements and coordinate for suitable solar solutions.
Develop and maintain a strong client/business network.
Follow up with prospective clients from lead generation to closure.
Regular travelling for client meetings, site visits and business development
activities.
Candidate Profile
Minimum 2+ years of experience in Business Development / Sales.
Experience in Solar / Renewable Energy will be highly preferred.
Experience in EPC companies, Power Generation companies or
Infrastructure companies is an added advantage.
Candidates from other reputed Private-sector companies with excellent BDM
experience may also be considered.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Should be confident and presentable for client-facing meetings.
Valuable proposal-making and presentation skills.
Should be willing to travel extensively.
Fast learner with solid business acumen and negotiation skills.
Ability to independently handle client meetings and business development
activities.
