Role Description The Continental Chef at Oven Fresh is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. The chef is responsible for planning, preparing, and presenting a variety of continental dishes, ensuring they meet established taste, quality, and hygiene standards. Daily tasks include organizing mise en place, cooking and plating menu items, monitoring food stock and ordering requirements, and maintaining cleanliness and safety in the kitchen. The role involves collaborating with the kitchen team, supporting menu development, training junior staff,



and ensuring timely service during peak hours. The chef will also help implement standard recipes, portion controls, and cost-effective cooking methods while adhering to food safety regulations.
Qualifications

Strong skills in continental cuisine, including preparation, cooking techniques, and plating.
Experience in hot kitchen operations, sauce preparation, and oven-based cooking methods.
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen sanitation practices.
Ability to manage kitchen workflows, coordinate with team members, and handle busy service periods.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work respectfully in a diverse, inclusive team environment.
Relevant culinary diploma or certification; previous experience as a Continental Chef or in a similar role is preferred.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by restaurant operations.
