The platform uses a gamified, quiz-first approach to explore African proverbs, traditions, rites of passage, festivals, folklore, and customs. Built for Africans and the diaspora, Superfan.ng aims to deepen cultural understanding in an engaging, interactive way. Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Freelance Technical Writer at Superfan.ng. The Technical Writer will create clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation for the platform, including product guides, feature descriptions, FAQs, and internal process documents. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with product, engineering, and design teams to understand current features, translating technical concepts into accessible language, and maintaining up-to-date documentation in line with product changes.



The role also involves organizing and structuring content for ease of use, ensuring consistency across all documentation, and contributing to knowledge base and support materials that help learners and internal stakeholders use the platform effectively.
Qualifications
Ability to produce high-quality Technical Writing and Technical Communication materials, translating complex concepts into clear, concise documentation.
Experience creating and maintaining Technical Documentation and general Documentation for digital products or software platforms.
Skill in developing structured Manuals and user guides that support both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with excellent attention to detail and consistency.
Comfort working remotely, managing deadlines independently, and collaborating asynchronously with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with documentation tools (e.g., Markdown, Google Docs, Confl
