About the role
Fintale is hiring a qualified Chartered Accountant to work full-time with a UK-based tyre manufacturing group. You will be employed by Fintale and work directly with the client's UK finance team.
This is not a back-office data-entry role. You will own a real UK finance function end to end, with hands-on exposure to UK GAAP, UK VAT under Making Tax Digital, and a full statutory audit. That combination is genuinely hard to obtain in the Indian market and is a real differentiator on a CA's CV.
Key responsibilities
Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss and balance sheet
Record day-to-day transactions: sales, purchases, receipts and payments
Reconcile bank, credit card and control accounts, and investigate and resolve discrepancies
Manage accounts payable and receivable, process invoices, prepare payments and maintain supplier records
Maintain inventory records and reconcile inventory accounts, including weekly stock-takes across sites
Prepare and file UK VAT returns
Support internal and external audit with documentation and reports
Qualifications and skills
Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI)
3+ years post-qualification experience in management accounts, reconciliations and inventory
Excellent English communication - you will deal directly with UK colleagues, auditors and suppliers
Strong Microsoft Excel and a solid grounding in accounting principles
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a significant advantage
Solid analytical skills and attention to detail
Comfortable working UK hours
What we offer
Salary as per best industry standards, based on your experience and skills
Structured UK technical training in UK GAAP, VAT and audit
Direct working relationship with a UK finance team
Ongoing training and clear career progression
