Role Description The Import Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Mumbai, responsible for managing end-to-end import operations for food and nutraceutical ingredients. This role involves coordinating with international suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to ensure timely import, documentation accuracy, and regulatory compliance. The Import Manager will handle import documentation, customs procedures, and ocean freight arrangements,



while monitoring shipment status and resolving delays or issues. Day-to-day tasks include negotiating freight and service terms, optimizing costs, maintaining import records, and supporting customer service teams with shipment and delivery updates. The role also requires close collaboration with quality and regulatory teams to ensure imported products meet company and statutory requirements.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Import, Export, and Import Export operations, including documentation, customs clearance, and compliance.
Experience managing Ocean freight shipments, coordinating with shipping lines, and handling port-related processes.
Customer Service skills to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics partners, and clients regarding shipment status and issue resolution.
Proficiency in international trade regulations, INCOTERMS, and import-related statutory requirements.
