Role Description The Store Manager role at Chumbak in Guwahati is a full time, on-site position responsible for leading daily store operations and ensuring an engaging customer experience. This includes overseeing visual merchandising, managing inventory and stock levels, monitoring sales performance, and implementing company policies and standards on the shop floor. The Store Manager will supervise, coach, and schedule store team members, maintain high levels of customer service,



and resolve operational and customer issues promptly. The role also involves driving store-level promotions, preparing basic sales reports, coordinating with regional and head office teams, and ensuring the store reflects the brand’s design and service ethos at all times.
Qualifications
Proven experience in retail store management or supervisory roles, preferably in lifestyle, fashion, or consumer-facing brands.
Strong leadership, team management, and people development abilities, including coaching, performance feedback, and scheduling.
Customer service and relationship-building skills, with a focus on creating welcoming, inclusive, and engaging in-store experiences.
Basic proficiency in sales tracking, inventory control, and POS operations, with comfort using retail software and reporting tools.
