About the Role
Alyne is looking for a Social Media Commentator who can create genuine, thoughtful, and engaging conversations across social media platforms.
This role focuses on community engagement, relationship building, and meaningful social conversations rather than simply posting or managing social media content. The ideal candidate should understand social media culture and be able to write comments that feel natural, personalized, relevant, and human.
Key Responsibilities
Write human, natural, and thoughtful comments on relevant social media posts.
Understand the context of each post before commenting and contribute something valuable.
Identify relevant conversations, creators, founders, industry experts, and potential customers.
Start conversations rather than simply reacting to posts.
Respond to comments and engage with people who interact with the brand.
Build and nurture genuine relationships through consistent social engagement.
Identify potential leads, customers, collaborators, and industry connections through social conversations.
Track important conversations and community feedback and share relevant insights with the team.
Maintain the brand's personality and tone while keeping communication warm, relatable, and authentic.
Stay updated with current trends, conversations, and topics relevant to the brand's audience.
Requirements & Skills
1 to 1+ year of experience in social media, community management, social media engagement, or a related role.
Strong conversational writing skills with the ability to sound like a real person, not a template.
Robust understanding of social media culture and online conversations.
Ability to write personalized comments based on the context of a post.
Strong community-building and relationship-building skills.
