Role Description
The Business Sales Intern role is a remote, contract position focused on supporting sales and business development activities. On a day-to-day basis, the intern will help identify and qualify prospective clients, assist in outreach campaigns, and support follow-up communication with leads. The role includes researching target markets, preparing sales materials and presentations, and updating CRM or tracking tools with accurate information. The intern will collaborate with the sales and research teams to understand client needs, contribute to proposals, and help coordinate virtual meetings and demos. This position offers exposure to consultative selling in a data-driven, research-focused environment.

Qualifications
Robust Communication skills, including clear written and verbal interaction with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Business and New Business Development skills to understand client needs, recognize growth opportunities, and support pipeline-building activities.
Sales skills to assist with prospecting, lead qualification,



and supporting consultative sales conversations.
Customer Service skills to respond professionally to inquiries, maintain positive client relationships, and support a high-quality client experience.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
Comfort with basic data analysis, online research tools, and productivity software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, CRM systems).
Interest in market research, analytics, or consulting; prior internship or academic project experience in these areas is beneficial.
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
