NKey Responsibilities

Plan and deliver Chemistry lessons according to the prescribed curriculum. N
Teach topics in Physical, Organic, and Inorganic Chemistry with conceptual clarity. N
Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and teaching aids. N
Conduct laboratory experiments and demonstrations while ensuring safety procedures. N
Evaluate students through tests, assignments, projects, and practical assessments. N
Maintain attendance records, marks, and student progress reports. N
Provide remedial coaching and doubt-clearing sessions for weaker students. N
Encourage scientific thinking, problem-solving, and inquiry-based learning. N
Use digital teaching tools such as smart boards and educational software. N
Participate in examinations, parent-teacher meetings (PTMs), workshops,



and school activities. N
Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning workplace. N

nRequired Qualifications

n
Bachelor's or master's Degree (B.Sc.) in Chemistry or a related Science subject. N
Minimum 3+ yrs of experience in teaching grades 8 to 10 N
B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) from a recognized institution. N
CTET/TET qualification may be required for government schools. N
Teaching experience is preferred but not always mandatory. N
