Role Description
The Python Tech Lead – Healthcare RCM Automation role at Movate Technologies is a full time, work-from-office position based in Bengaluru or Chennai, operating in the UK shift. We are looking for an experienced professional with 5–7 years of production-grade Python development experience to join a high-ownership engineering team building a greenfield Revenue Cycle Management Automation Platform for a healthcare provider.
The selected professional will contribute across backend platform services, healthcare EDI processing, data mapping, workflow orchestration, REST APIs, integrations, and operational user-interface components. The role requires end-to-end ownership of modules, from solution design and development through testing, documentation, deployment, and production handover.
Roles and Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain core platform services, including configuration management, logging, health checks, secrets management, metrics, monitoring, and telemetry.




Build reliable processing pipelines with staged processing, retries, idempotency, dead-letter queues, and robust exception handling.
Own assigned modules throughout the complete development lifecycle, including design, implementation, automated testing, documentation, deployment, and production handover.
Develop healthcare EDI ingestion and processing capabilities for X12 835 Remittance Advice and X12 837 Healthcare Claims transactions.
Parse EDI files into structured transaction models and validate ISA, GS, and ST envelopes.
Develop resilient parsing logic to support companion-guide variations, normalization, payer-ID resolution, and CARC/RARC enrichment.
Create configuration-driven mapping solutions to transform parsed transactions into standardized canonical data models.
Implement secure file-processing workflows, including SFTP automation, PGP encryption, third-party integrations, retry mechanisms, and dead
