Role Description

This is a remote, unpaid volunteer role in Human Resources (HR) at The Tann Mann Gaadi. The HR volunteer will support core HR activities, including maintaining volunteer records, assisting with onboarding processes, and helping implement HR policies and guidelines. Day-to-day tasks may include coordinating communication with volunteers, supporting the development of HR procedures, and contributing to initiatives related to well-being, engagement, and retention.



The role also involves collaborating with team members to ensure fair, inclusive, and transparent HR practices aligned with the organization’s social impact mission.

Qualifications

Foundational knowledge of Human Resources (HR) and HR Management to support day-to-day HR operations.
Understanding of HR Policies and Employee Benefits to help develop and maintain fair and compliant practices.
Skills in Personnel Management, including organizing records and supporting volunteer lifecycle activities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a remote workplace.
Organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
Commitment to social impact, sensitivity to diverse backgrounds, and alignment with the mission of improving public health.
Prior experience or education in HR, social work, or nonprofit management is beneficial but not mandatory..
